These Terms of Service govern your use of FuelSmart. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use FuelSmart.
FuelSmart provides the following features:
Fuel price data is sourced from the GOV.UK Fuel Finder service. We display this data as provided and cannot guarantee its accuracy. Prices are updated daily and may lag behind pump pricing.
We are not responsible for any discrepancies between the prices shown in FuelSmart and the prices you find at the pump.
The AI chatbot feature provides general advice and information only. It does not constitute financial advice.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
Only one account per person is permitted.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
Core features of FuelSmart are available free of charge. The free tier may display advertisements.
We may change, add, or remove features available on the free tier with reasonable notice.
FuelSmart Pro is available at £1.49 per month, billed via Stripe.
Pro includes ad-free browsing, AI-powered features, and price history access.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
No partial month refunds are provided for cancellations.
A 14-day money-back guarantee applies to your first Pro subscription.
Fleet pricing is £3 per driver per month, or £30 per driver per year, starting from a single driver.
A 14-day free trial is available with no credit card required.
You can cancel your Fleet subscription at any time. No partial period refunds are provided.
Changes to the number of drivers are prorated for the remaining billing period.
We will provide at least 30 days notice before any changes to Fleet pricing.
A 14-day money-back guarantee applies to your first Pro or Fleet subscription.
After the initial 14-day period, no partial refunds are provided. Cancelling your subscription keeps your access active until the end of the current billing period.
For annual plans, a prorated refund is available if requested within 30 days. After 30 days, no refunds are provided.

Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days.
Custom fleet packages are available with bespoke pricing, outlined in a separate agreement. Additional plan tiers may be introduced in future.
Custom agreements supplement these Terms of Service.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. All prices include VAT.
If a payment fails, we will retry the charge. After 14 days of failed payments, your account features may be restricted.
Please keep your payment method current to avoid interruption of service.
As a Fleet admin, you are responsible for the following:
FuelSmart is not responsible for any employment decisions made based on data provided through the Fleet features.

API access is subject to fair use and must be for legitimate business purposes only.

The FuelSmart application, its design, and its code are owned by Tony McCarthy.
Fuel price data is Crown Copyright and is used under the Open Government Licence (OGL).
You retain ownership of your own data, including fill-up records and saved routes.
By using FuelSmart, you grant us a licence to process your data as necessary to provide the service.
FuelSmart is provided “as is” without any warranty, express or implied.
We are not liable for the accuracy of fuel prices, as this data is provided by third parties. Savings estimates are approximate and should not be relied upon as exact figures.
Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
We aim to keep FuelSmart available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Scheduled maintenance or unexpected downtime may occur from time to time.
We are not liable for any losses arising from service downtime.
We may update these terms from time to time with reasonable notice.
Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
Continued use of FuelSmart after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If you disagree with any changes, you may close your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
We encourage informal resolution of any concerns before taking legal action.
